AJ’s Reviews and Recommendations
You should have (music that’s in the store NOW)
Tweet or Charlene to some is back after 10 years sounding soulful and melodic as ever, in every way. This self titled album “Charlene” gives us hits like “Magic” & “Somebody Else Will” makes this album one that is sure to please.
Berner: This Bay area heavy hitter brings us “Hempire” the newest installment. For those that like to listen to music in what I consider to be the 3 greatest forms. Sippin on something, Ride, and of course gettin elevated. This album delivers “Burn One” and “Best Thang Smokin” to name a few. But my favorite hands down is “Kansas City/ Drug Runner.” This laid back Bay Area rapper teams up Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Project Pat, Young Dolph and more.
Out This Friday!
“Lemonade” Beyoncé’s sixth studio album and her second visual album, features 12 new songs and a corresponding short film. It is a conceptual project based on every woman’s journey of self knowledge and healing.
Drake‘s new album “Views” is the 29-year-old rapper’s fourth studio album and it features 20 hot tracks, including last summer’s smash hit “Hotline Bling” and the new single “One Dance.”
On the heels of Next To Nothing, Rittz’s Top Of The Line finds the Gwinnett County resident giving us the inside track to his life – sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, sometimes introspective – always in a style that is uniquely Rittz. With tracks like “Inside Of The Groove”, “Ghost Story” and “Propane”, alongside features from Tech N9ne, Mike Posner, E-40, Devin The Dude, Krizz Kaliko and MJG, Top Of The Line is the next chapter in the expanding legacy of Rittz.
