Taylor Swift – The Tortured Poets Department
The Tortured Poets Department (also shortened to Tortured Poets) is the eleventh studio album by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. Shortly after finishing work on Midnights, Swift conceived The Tortured Poets Department and developed it during the Eras Tour (2023-2024). She described the album as her “lifeline” record, a product of imperative songwriting. It consists of sixteen songs, featuring collaborations with the American rapper Post Malone features on “Fortnight” and the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine on “Florida!!!”.

On his 1966 classic, Happenings, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson assembled a quartet with Herbie Hancock (piano), Bob Cranshaw (bass) and Joe Chambers (drums) for a sublime post-bop outing featuring captivating Hutcherson originals, including the stunning ballad “Bouquet” and Latin-tinged “Rojo,” as well as a version of Hancock’s “Maiden Voyage.” Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series features stereo, all-analog mastering by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.

Best Of Bruce Springsteen is a collection of original songs spanning his storied 50-year recording career, from 1973’s Greeting from Asbury Park, NJ to 2020’s Letter To You. It will be available as an 18-track set. The collection will span early-career favorites like “Growin’ Up” and “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” staples of Springsteen’s live shows from “Dancing In The Dark” to “The Rising,” best-selling breakouts like “Born To Run” and “Hungry Heart,” as well as recent releases “Hello Sunshine” and “Letter To You.” Here, these career-spanning works appear together in one set for the first time. The packaging includes archival photos and a new essay.

Following his 1965 masterpiece, Maiden Voyage, Herbie Hancock wouldn’t record his Blue Note follow-up until 1968 with the innovative classic, Speak Like A Child, on which the pianist and composer added the unique coloring of flugelhorn, bass trombone and alto flute to his trio for an alluring set of originals including “Riot” and “The Sorcerer.” Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series features stereo, all-analog, mastering by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal in a gatefold jacket.

Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees, Pearl Jam, return with their highly anticipated new album Dark Matter. The band’s 12th studio album was produced by Grammy® Award-winning producer, Andrew Watt. “Dark Matter” was recorded in three weeks at Shangri-La in Malibu, California in 2023. The album channels the spirit of a group of lifelong creative confidants. Drummer Matt Cameron revealed that they finished the record with Andrew Watt’s help. Guitarist Mike McCready described the album as heavier than expected, with recording being less time-consuming than their previous record “Gigaton”. The band and Watt debuted “Dark Matter” at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. Eddie Vedder expressed his pride in the band’s work.
