New restock and new releases:

Ride – Interplay (45 RPM, Digital Download Card)

With nods to their earlier work, Ride’s 7th album contains some of the best songs they have ever written. It is a record in the old-school sense, a rich listen that flows from start to finish, at times urgent and formidable, at others wistful and melancholic. It’s a record about perseverance, sticking together, finding a way forward. Claudius Mittendorfer’s mix provides the final touches on a startling, stop-you-in-your-tracks LP. This is the sound of a band hitting a new peak of their powers.

Twenty One Pilots – Blurryface (Silver Vinyl FBR Anniversary)

Tycho – Awake (10th Anniversary Edition, Blue Beige Colored Vinyl)

Tycho, previously a solo project by Scott Hansen, evolved into a three-piece band with the release of “Awake”. The album, closer to post-rock than ambient, represents the first true Tycho record. After touring extensively with a full band, Hansen aimed to capture the live show’s energy in his next album. The addition of live drumming by Rory O’Connor and collaboration with Zac Brown led to a more stripped-down, organic sound. The album bridges old and new, with songs like “Montana” and “Awake” showing a departure from previous material. This marks the first time Hansen has focused solely on music.
