The Game – 1992
“1992” is the eighth studio album by American rapper The Game. The album features a single guest appearance by R&B singer Jeremih, as well as uncredited appearances by Osbe Chill, Lorine Chia and Jason Derulo. The Game says the album is based on his personal experiences as a 12 year old growing up in Compton, California and the surrounding events including the LA Riots, O.J. Simpson’s murder trial and the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. Includes the singles “All Eyez” & “True Colors / It’s On.”
Dreezy – No Hard Feelings
No Hard Feelings is the debut studio album by American recording artist Dreezy. It was released on Interscope Records. The nineteen-track project solely features guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Wale, and T-Pain. The lead single from the album, “Body” featuring Jeremih. Also includes the singles “We Gon Ride,” “Close to You ” and “Spazz.”
Local Artist: Katrina Lee – I Am Queen
Katrina Lee was born in St Joseph, Missouri. At the age of four she began singing in the church choir where her mother was the pianist. She was just 12 years old when she wrote and arranged her first song. Her favorite artist as a young girl was the late Whitney Houston. She also received a strong musical influences from Etta James, Patti LaBelle, Anita Baker & Michael Jackson. In college she was a member of a duet group 2VA1 (2 Voices As 1). The group performed all original pieces written by Katrina herself. Over the years she’s never stopped writing and recording music. In 2014 she released her sophomore mixtape “Fuckin Dope,” and founded her own independent label Star Mission Music Group. She released her debut album titled “The Showcase” bring an extraordinary variety of sounds from R&B, neo soul, rap, blues, jazz & even gospel. She has also completed her 3rd mixtape titled “I Am Queen” both now available.
